About StinkTiger
If Your Cat Has Ever Cleared a Room, This Brand Is For You
Somewhere in Eindhoven, Netherlands, lives a 9 year old tabby cat who genuinely believes he is a tiger. His name is Luuk. His reputation precedes him. Usually by smell.
The Origin Story
It started with the bathroom timing.
You know the moment. Guests arriving? Perfect time for a litter box visit. Dinner party? Strategic strike. Important Zoom call? Butthole to camera. If you have ever apologized to visitors while frantically opening windows, you understand.
Then came the sitting. Not like a normal cat. Like a CEO about to fire everyone. Belly out, dignity abandoned, zero shame. The kind of pose that makes you wonder if your cat is broken and then realize no, he is just committed.
And the confidence. The absolute audacity of a 5 kilo cat who picks fights with his shadow, genuinely believes that puffing up makes him scary, and surveys his territory from the roof like he is king of the savannah.
This is Luuk. And these are his crimes.
Three Cats, Two Countries
Luuk lives in Eindhoven with Mery, along with his sister Mina and their rescue cat Fietje. Alex moved to Aljezur, a small town on the Atlantic coast of Portugal. The cats stayed.
But Luuk, Mina and Fietje have a way of staying present regardless of geography. The photos kept coming. The videos kept arriving. Luuk in the starring role, as always, with Mina quietly orchestrating events from the background and Fietje being impossibly sweet until a vet visit is mentioned.
At some point Alex and Mery both agreed: these stories were too good to do nothing with. StinkTiger was the result.
The cats are still in Eindhoven. The brand runs from Aljezur. Luuk remains indifferent to both.
Meet the Cast
Luuk
Now (2026) a nine year old tabby. The StinkTiger himself. Unshakeable confidence, signature smell, zero apologies. Times bathroom visits with the precision of someone who has studied your social calendar. Sits like a CEO. Thinks he is a tiger and considers himself a predator from the jungle, but shivers with fear if the floor is too cold.

Mina
Black cat. Luuk's sister. The actual boss of the three, though she lets Luuk believe otherwise. Never positions herself as top dog, but when Mina wants something, it happens. She arranges it quietly, from a safe distance, usually while Luuk is busy being distracting.

Fietje
Pronounced "feet-yuh." Born under a neighbor's storage container. Joined the household at six months old, when Luuk and Mina were already three and a half and fully committed to their respective personalities. The sweetest cat imaginable, the peace-loving hippie, until a vet appointment is scheduled. Then the devil comes out. This is believed to be a trauma response from her time on the street. She is working on it. Progress is slow.

Why "StinkTiger"?
The tiger part: the attitude. The swagger. The way he surveys his territory like he is king of the savannah, despite being 5 kilos and occasionally scared of plastic bags.
The stink part: if you have ever owned a cat with legendary bathroom timing, you already know. And if you do not know, consider yourself lucky and come back after your next dinner party.
What We Make. And Why.
StinkTiger is the authority on chaotic cat behavior. The behavior is explained, celebrated, and turned into products that prove you survived it.
Every t-shirt, mug, candle and sweater here is inspired by something Luuk actually did. The gravity testing. The guest timing. The laptop supervision. The complete absence of dignity during a Zoom call. If you have lived with a cat like Luuk, you will recognize all of it. That recognition is the whole point.
The products are not jokes about cats. They are badges for the people who live with them.
If you have ever Googled "why does my cat do this" at 3 AM, you are in the right place.
Supporting Something Good
For every order, €1 goes to AEZA, an animal welfare foundation based in Aljezur, Portugal, that does quiet, unglamorous, important work for animals that ended up on the wrong side of luck.
Fietje would approve. Probably. As long as no one tries to put her in a crate to get there.

You Are Not Alone
Every cat owner knows a Luuk. The one with too much confidence and too little self-awareness. The one who clears rooms and hearts in equal measure. The one who makes you wonder daily why you chose this life and would not trade it for anything.
This one is for all of us living with tiny, stinky, beloved chaos agents.
StinkTiger. Feared by many. Smelled by all.
